Day and night I call to Thee;
Are You unable to hear?
I call in light and in obscurity,
Awake, in dream, and sleeping.
Days come, and days vanish;
Many nights get lost forever.
By a hope-mirage's magic,
Watching path I stay waiting.
In summer and in monsoon, then in autumn,
In pre-winter and in winter seasons,
Even though fruitless, I remain absorbed;
I think You will arrive in spring.

For You I'll wait long as it takes, for great is the reward.
